Phase III Cardiac Rehabilitation is a partnership between Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and The Arena Club that utilizes the expertise of both facilities to help you achieve your fitness and wellness goals. This supervised program includes exercise, education, and support, in a fun filled atmosphere at The Arena Club in Bel Air, Maryland. Classes are three days a week for approximately 1½ hours.
Phase III Cardiac Rehabilitation is appropriate for a person who:
- Wants to maintain the fitness achieved in Phase II
- Or did not attend Phase II, but wants to improve their heart health and start a Fitness Program
Phase III might be appropriate for a person if they have 2 or more of the following Cardiac Risk Factors:
- High Blood Pressure
- High Cholesterol
- Diabetes
- Family History of Heart Disease
- Smoker (current or past)
- Overweight
- Do not currently Exercise
Phase III Offers:
- Risk factor reduction
- A beautiful new spacious facility at The Arena Club.
- A fitness program developed to meet individual needs
- Blood pressure and heart rate monitoring
- A highly trained staff in the field of Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Flexible morning and evening hours
- Educational topics to support diet and heart health
- Support to achieve your goals

A physician order and stress test are required prior to entry.
